Take a pile of old computers, CD drives, historic mobile phones, broken digital cameras and other e-junk. Take it all apart. Add in a couple of keen Robobuilders (Jamie and Lauren, ably assisted by cousin Oliver) and what do you get?
Junk Bot Mk1!
The wheeled base and camera support rod was designed by Jamie. Jamie and Lauren then joined PARS at the Hackspace, glue gun in hand. We think its a pretty cool robot.

ReplyDeleteGreetings fellow robot builders! I came across your blog while researching some different ways that people have connected cameras to their robots. It is difficult to tell from the pictures but it looks like one of the cameras you used is a silver digital camera. Since these usually connect with usb cords I would be interested to find out how you connected that to your robots computer. I have had to do alot of complicated programming to get a usb camera to work with my robot. You can see it at http://salviusrobot.blogspot.com/p/about-salvius.html
